Phung Hung Old House was built around the end of the 18th century – the beginning of the 19th century, about 200 years ago. On June 29, 1993, Phung Hung Old House was honored to be certified as a National Historic-Cultural Relic of Vietnam.

In addition, all 80 oar poles are made of ironwood and are placed on solid and sturdy stone columns.
