Ha Tinh

Ha Tinh possesses many beautiful beaches in which the most famous one is Thien Cam, along with treasures of relics and cultural heritages. Ha Tinh is a land of rich cultural traditions, the home of many celebrities such as the famous physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong, the great poet Nguyen Du, the poet Nguyen Cong Tru, the historian Phan Huy Chu, etc. 99% of Ha Tinh's population are Kinh people, so it is filled with Vietnamese culture and customs. Ha Tinh has a unique and precious folklore treasure, which is also the cradle of the folk and folk songs that have been recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Ha Tinh's intangible traditional cultural heritage consists of prominent festivals such as the Huong Tich pagoda festival, Ca temple festival, Bich Chau temple festival, etc. which are destinations not only for local people but also of travelers across the country. Notably, the Dong Loc T-junction relic area - the resting place of the famous women's volunteer battalion, has been recognized by the State as a Special National Historic Site, one of the tourist destinations.
