Ly Son Island

Ly Son Island attracts fascinating nature formed from volcanoes tens of millions of years ago. Ly Son is the only island district of Quang Ngai province, located northeast of the area, about 30 km from the mainland. Ly Son is not only famous for growing garlic, but in recent years, it has also attracted many young tourists because of the fantastic beauty formed from geological tectonics tens of millions of years ago. Currently, on the island, five mountains are all evidence of erupting volcanoes. The volcanic eruption and extinction of the volcano from 25-30 million years ago created beautiful natural landscapes on the island and left in the south a layer of fertile basalt soil suitable for many crops. The reefs are excellent habitats for many aquatic species.
