Overview of Hon Thom Island Phu Quoc

Location: Hon Thom commune – An Thoi archipelago – South of Phu Quoc island

Hon Thom Phu Quoc is where the seawater is very deep and clear, with many beautiful rapids and strange shapes. In addition to being famous for its poetic beauty, Hon Thom Phu Quoc is also known for its legendary legends for many generations. Legend has it that “Hon Thom island was one of the refuges of Lord Nguyen during the time of seeking revenge after the defeat of the Tay Son uprising.”

How to get to Hon Thom Island?

To get to Hon Thom, from Duong Dong town of Phu Quoc island, you can go by taxi, tourist car, bus, or rent a motorbike to go to An Thoi port by yourself. From the center of Duong Dong town, you can run along Tran Hung Dao street to reach An Thoi port. The route is about 23km. It takes about 30 minutes if you go slow while enjoying the scenery.
