Cat Ba is about 50km from Hai Phong city center, about 160km from Hanoi. Currently, there are two main ways to get to Flamingo Cat Ba Hotel :
Option 1: Take the cable car
Currently, there is a cable car system across the sea built by SunGroup from Cat Hai to Cat Ba.
From the center of Hai Phong city, you need to go towards Dinh Vu Port, go up Lach Huyen bridge to cross the sea to Cat Hai. Continue to ask for directions to Cat Hai Station at Hamlet Chan, Dong Bai, Cat Hai, Hai Phong.

Option 2: What else is there to go to Cat Ba?
I strongly recommend everyone to go this way. The coastal road to Cat Ba must be called excellently beautiful.
The migrations are still the same as above. Starting from Hai Phong city center, go to Lach Huyen bridge to Cat Hai. Then to Cai Vieng ferry. You will be floating on the sea for about 20 minutes before landing in Cat Ba. From here, you have to follow the sea road to the center of Cat Ba town. This is one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam, with high mountains on one side, a blue sea on the other, and a soaring sky.
