Overview of Nguyen Hoang Hoi An night market

Address: Nguyen Hoang, Minh An Ward, Hoi An, Quang Nam.

Hours of operation: 17h-23h daily.

The Nguyen Hoang Hoi An Night Market is also known as the Hoi An Night Market. This place attracts people to visit and shop when they come to Hoi An because of the uniqueness of the items sold at the market and the rustic and close market style.

The market is located on Nguyen Hoang Street (opposite the Cau Pagoda ), next to the dreamy Hoai River, with about 50 stalls selling along the way and stretching about 300m. The stalls at the market are often simply trolleys decorated and arranged by the table people to attract market-goers. This place is one of the attractions people visit because of the rustic closeness and bustling atmosphere in the old town.

Although located only on a small road, Hoi An night market offers various items from souvenirs, fabrics, lanterns, bags, clothes to unique dishes of Hoi An such as Cao Lau, spring rolls, or the famous mussels with rice paper. And thanks to this diversity, it is like turning the Nguyen Hoang market into a miniature Hoi An ancient town. Just go to explore the market, and you seem to have experienced everything in the old city.

How to move to Hoi An Night Market (from Danang)

Nguyen Hoang Hoi An night market only operates at night, so you can move to the old town in the morning or afternoon to explore many famous places around here and spend the whole evening visiting the Hoi An night market.

The night market is located inside the old town and about 30km from Da Nang, about an hour by car, so there are quite a few options for you to ponder.

Taxis

You can travel from Da Nang city center to Hoi An by taxi. With this type of transportation, you will be less tired and less time looking for a way to go.

Besides, the old town usually does not allow motorbikes to run in, so don’t worry if you are afraid to go to the ancient city without any means to explore. Moreover, the area of the old town is also relatively small. Indeed if you walk, you can still fully explore without missing any place.

But the drawback of this form is that the price will often be high, so if you are traveling with your family or a large group of friends, you can think and choose this way of travel.

Motorcycles

When traveling by motorbike, you will experience more and more authenticity than going by taxi. You can be flexible with your schedule, free to visit some other points on the way to Hoi An.

However, when coming to Hoi An, you need to find a place to park your car, especially during the peak tourist season. Finding a parking lot is extremely difficult and time-consuming. One more factor you need to keep in mind is that the parking fee here is quite expensive.

This way of transportation is suitable for groups of friends or planning to visit more places on the way to Hoi An.
