Yen Bai

Yen Bai owns many pristine landscapes and many specialties. Yen Bai is the gateway of the Northwest region, connecting the Northeast and Northwest. To the east of the province, there are fascinating monuments and landscapes, with many ancient temples and shrines with historical traces. Typically, there are places such as Dong Cuong Temple, ancient Bach Bach pagoda, Cang monument, and Nghia Lo post, Revolutionary Memorial Monument of Hero Nguyen Thai Hoc. In the west of Yen Bai, there are thousands of year-round terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai district. Under the skillful hands of the Mong people, the areas here are arranged in steps stretching, winding on the mountainside, such as "fingerprints of heaven." In the pouring season, these terraces are like sparkling silver, until the rice season ripens the fields as dyed gold. Mu Cang Chai is also famous for many beautiful scenes such as Cao Pha pass, Mo waterfall, Pu Nhu waterfall, etc. Favored by nature, Yen Bai has many great products such as Suoi Giang tea, Tu Le sticky rice, sticky rice with five colors, black cake (Muong Lo), buffalo meat, etc. With delicious specialties and beautiful natural landscapes, even though coincidentally far away, the journey to the northern mountainous province will also be very worthwhile.
