Da Lat - Lam Dong

Da Lat - Lam Dong is located in the south of the Central Highlands region, adjacent to the southern critical economic area. Although as a Central Highlands province, Lam Dong has a better relationship with all areas in the Southeast. This province is the origin of the Dong Nai river system, the longest inland river in Vietnam. The high terrain but not too steep, flat valleys, abundant water resources, and cooling climate all year round makes LamDong has favorable conditions to develop many crops and develop resort tourism. Favorable natural conditions make Lam Dong the largest silk-growing mulberry growing area in the country, the region of tea, temperate vegetables and flowers provide the whole southern and northern regions. When it comes to making silk, Bao Loc and Lam Dong silk brands are even more famous than Van Phuc silk, Ha Dong and Hanoi. It is valuable that silkworm raising is increasingly developing in Lam Dong with more than 5,500 hectares of mulberry land. High-quality silk weaving products of Bao Loc and Lam Dong are mainly exported to European and American countries. Besides silkworm raising, Bao Lo  Lam Dong is also a famous tea growing area. Tea of ​​Bao Loc is suitable for processing into Oolong tea, fresh but sweet, mild fragrance, consumed in many countries around the world. Along with Bao Loc, Da Lat is a famous tourist destination for a long time. Da Lat is known as the "dream city" because of its picturesque scenery. Along with French architectural villas, the city attracts tourists by the charm of the scenic spots such as Valley of Love, Cam ly waterfall, Lam Than lake, Xuan Huong lake. Da Lat is also known as a "city of thousands of flowers" because many temperate zone flowers are grown here. The annual Da Lat Flower Festival is an event that attracts tourists to admire thousands of blooming flowers. There are many famous landmarks such as Dambri Waterfall, the highest one in Lam Dong with a height of over 40m associated with a beautiful legend about the heart of a girl for the boy he loves, Datanla waterfall, Madagui forest ecology or Lang Biang mountain. This central highlands province is a land with many beautiful products. Besides tea and Bao Loc silk scarf, there are also teas made from Dalat's famous flowers and artichokes, fruits like crunchy persimmons, strawberries, and delicious jams.
