1300-year-old Po-mu tree is one of the “targets” that tourists are eager to admire when they arrive. “Old Po-mu”, though not yet the highest peak of Bidoup, is one of the landmarks that climbers often use as markers or as a motivation to overcome steep hills to decay.

Bidoup is like a giant glass cage surrounded by ancient forests interspersed with layers of layers. In the full April sunlight, the forest foliage cannot be penetrated here. Therefore, you will feel the fresh and relaxed massage on the skin.

On the old mossy tree trunk grows thick green blocking the way, form an as beautiful gate as entering the wonderful world in the film. The branches are full of green and red mushrooms.

When crossing the grassy hills, the path is a row of reed that is twice the height of the person. Climbing a step, taking a breath, and then not knowing when you have reached the top of the hill. From here, looking down from above, you will see the green of beautiful and peaceful pine forest.

After all the hard work, getting to the top will make you feel extremely refreshed and free. Photo: Nguyen Trang

The slopes followed each other

In front of you is a steep slope; behind is a steep slope, no matter which direction you have to climb when hiking in Bidoup National Park. Bidoup’s trail is beautiful, going in April with greener leaves, the greener the forest. Around the wooden bridge across the stream, there are ties of coffee and tea trees. Across the creek, slopes are waiting for you.

The trekking path is relatively narrow, the road is worn. The slopes open constantly in front of you making you struggle from the first stretch of road. No matter which season of the year, this road is very slippery due to the low humidity of the forest. Therefore, preparing a climbing stick or a pair of specialized trekking shoes is necessary for you.

Unexpected friends on the way

Along the way, you will encounter countless bloodsuckers and a few snakes, squirrels. This is considered a catalyst that makes your journey more exciting and exciting. Bloodsuckers here quite a lot but mainly consists of two types that are out from the leaves and out from the moist ground.

Snakes rarely appear, so don’t worry. And when you go to the big trunk, you will surely be surprised because, under the tree, there are so many chestnut barks, just bark, and bark only. Looking up at the tree, you will see a few squirrels squirming and fluttering, leaving some to fly over their heads.

Interesting camping halfway up the mountain

At Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, there is a private camping ground for tourists. When you reach this place, in front of you is an ancient forest like a giant curtain. And as soon as you lift the curtain, a space of grass hills filled with pine trees appears. Pine hill is wild but pure and subtle with the taste of freedom.

The campsite is halfway up the hill, though not as cold as atop Bidoup, but the night temperatures here are quite low and accompanied by the monsoon winds. In this cold air, it is better than rubbing your hands by the fire and passing your hands to a glass of wine to warm your stomach at the end of a great meal. All make a unique, unforgettable meal in life.

Bidoup Nui Ba National Park

The end of the day with the experience of coming to Bidoup Nui Ba National Park is desirable, isn’t it? Do not hesitate to visit this place and mark the milestone in your youth to look back without regret.
