Mau Son Mountain is located in the northeast of Lang Son province, about 30km from Lang Son city. At the height of 1,000 m, Mau Son mountain this season is full of flowers such as white and red azaleas, peach bells, forest pear flowers … The most impressive is the forest peach blossom.

The peach trees here bloomed more than a month later than other peach blossom varieties, located mainly in Ngan Po and Than Diu villages of Cong Son commune, Cao Loc district.
Photographer Bui Vinh Thuan (Lang Son City), the author of the photo series, said that Mau Son forest peach adapted to the cold with inert stems and waited for the warm spring and sunshine to bloom, which is considered a ” very own beauty ”of Mau Son mountain area.

The author of the photo shared, he always goes to Mau Son every spring, to explore the scenery throughout the roads and daily life of ethnic people in this mountainous area.

The forest peach blossom is pale pink. For photographers, this time is perfect to take the best photos of the blooming season.

Mau Son forest peach has five big petals, with two typical colors: dark pink (photo) and light pink. The tree will bloom young leaves after the flowering season and bear fruit in May – June every year.
