Ha Nam

Ha Nam is a familiar destination in the journey to discover the characteristics of folklore. Red River, Day River, Chau River flowing through Ha Nam, combined with dense river and lake system, have created a poetic beauty, a unique ecosystem of a typical sunken area. Places like Ho Tam Chuc, Ho Ba Hang, Ngu Dong Son, Luon cave, Zinc Trong, Bat Canh Tien have recently become attractive destinations. There are not many historical sites, trade villages, and festivals in Ha Nam. But everyone knows popular places and celebrations in Ha Nam, such as Ba Danh Pagoda, Long Doi Son Pagoda or Tich Dien - Doi Son Festival, Tran Luong Temple Ceremony, Nha Xa weaving village, etc. Visitors also can enjoy the specialties such as casted bread, braised fish, crab soup, clams, mussels, rice perch with Vietnamese perch, spring rolls, rolls, melons, copper snails, etc. Especially the famous braised fish of Dai Hoang village has now reached many parts of the country.
