7 Central Highlands waterfalls to discover
01. Dray Sap waterfall (Dak Lak province)
In Ede language, Dray Sap means smoke waterfall. This name is due to the water bending over the rock before falling like a giant water curtain.

To come here, you have to follow the path to Dray Nur or take bus number 13 (Buon Ma Thuot – Krong No). The car/bus will drop you right in front of the waterfall entrance.

02. Dray Nur Waterfall
This waterfall is about 30 km far from the Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak). From the center of the city, you will follow the direction of Highway 14 to the 14th bridge then turn left to enter the waterfall. With a length of over 200 m, a height of over 30 m, the waterfall is like a majestic wall that connects two provinces of Dak Nong and Dak Lak. Dray Nur is one of the most beautiful 7 Central Highlands waterfalls.

The exciting experience in Dray Nur is to wear a life vest, then go through the water wall into the cave, explore the place where the locals say the palace of the Mercury. Standing in the middle of the flow, you will feel the cold, the strength of the water.

03. Thuy Tien Waterfall – 7 Central Highlands waterfalls
Thuy Tien Waterfall is also known as Three-storey Waterfall, located in the northeast, about 56 km from Buon Ma Thuot City, and about 7 km from the center of Tam Giang commune – Krong Nang district. The road to Thuy Tien waterfall is a curved mountain pass, passing through immense coffee and rubber fields.
Going deep into the forest, you will be ecstatic in the midst of a vast landscape. Somewhere in the middle of the majestic nature of the mountains, Thuy Tien waterfall bends across the forest, like a single dot of the beautiful watercolor painting.

The waterfall consists of three floors, with many stones overlapping. The first story is easy to step up and down as it is only a low slope. In the second one, there are many stone steps. On the third floor, the water pours straight from above to form quite deep lakes.

04. Krong Kma Waterfall (Dak Lak)
The waterfall originates from the highest peak of the Cu Yang Sin mountain range, flows down the mountain foot to form a wild and poetic waterfall.

You can climb upstream of the waterfall, explore the mountain scenery with lush green lake, tranquil scenery amidst the wild nature.

05. Bay Nhanh Waterfall (7 Branches Waterfall)
Bay Nhanh Waterfall is a beautiful landscape of Ea Wer, Buon Don, Dak Lak. The name of the waterfall comes from the Serepok river, which it encounters a large rock when it flows through this place. Then this large rock separates the flow of the river into seven small streams.

06. Gia Long Waterfall – The most pristine of 7 Central Highlands waterfalls
The fall begins from the upper part of the Serepok river that flows through Dak Nong. The name of the waterfall originated from a story that King Gia Long, who ordered to break the mountains and deforestation to create a way for him to admire the falls. Photo: Nguyen Trung / Flickr.

07. Trinh Nu Waterfal (Virgin Waterfall)
Trinh Nu Waterfall is located in the center of Ea T’ling town, Dak Nong. The waterfall attracts tourists by its cracked dark gray basalt on the banks of the stream. Coming here, you can participate in activities such as riding elephants, fishing, relaxing in thatched roofs, or lying on the rocks of flowing water, hearing birds singing.
