Located at the top of O Quy Ho pass with an altitude of up to 2,035m above sea level, Heaven Gate is situated on National Highway 4D, connecting the two provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau 18km from the center of Sapa town. If going from the center of Sapa town, you just need to follow the road leading to Silver Falls and Tram Ton Ranger Station, from there go a few more kilometers to reach heaven gate at the top of O Quy Ho pass.

If moving from Lao Cai city center, you can go by bus, coach, or motorbike to Sapa town, then proceed with the same route from the city to the top of the pass. Note that the pass has many dangerous turns, so if the steering wheel is not stable, we recommend you go by bus or coach to ensure your safety.
