Twin Cham Towers in Quy Nhon
Quy Nhon Twin Towers
Address: Tran Hung Dao Street, Dong Da Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
Quy Nhon Twin Towers consists of two towers located adjacent to each other like a happy couple together. Inside the tower is a stone rice mill. Both ones are facing south and made of baked bricks bonded together by an exceptional substance.

This Quy Nhon Cham Tower has two main parts: The tower’s base is a solid stone block (Big Tower), and bricks (Small Tower) stacked neatly. The corner of the building is decorated with sculptural images of gods, characters, or dancers in Indian legends, etc. All created a very vivid and exciting picture.

The large tower is well-proportioned, with a height of about 20m. The body and roof have slightly constricted frills. The two sides have carved images of flowers with 21 dancers dancing around the fringe of the top. In the middle of the tower, there are decorations with portraits of monks sitting in meditation.

The small tower is also designed with the same structure as the large tower, 18m. But the roof fringe is decorated with the image of a herd of 13 deer instead of the idea of dancers. The sophistication in the design of the Cham people will make you feel more cherished than ever before.

Banh It Tower
Address: Dai Loc village, Phuoc Hiep commune, Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh province.
The entire complex of Banh It towers has four towers located on a gentle hill. This tower looks like a bit of banh it– a specialty of Binh Dinh from a distance. Maybe that’s why people call it Banh It tower. Recently, Banh It tower has been included in the 1001 beautiful architectural works by a group of British people that you must visit once.

The central building is the largest size, surrounded by three small towers, forming a mysterious complex. The main tower has a height of about 20m. The gate part is decorated very sophisticatedly and quite fancy. The bas-reliefs of the significant building are carved with dancing images, creating a lively and attractive space.

Next to the central tower is the saddle tower, with a height of 10m. Because the tower’s roof has a curved shape like a horse’s saddle, people also call this tower a rustic name like that.
The unique feature of the saddle tower is that the base is designed to protrude larger than the body, around which is carved with images of many people puffing up their chests, bending their legs, reaching out their arms, working together to lift the whole tower.

Looking to the south is a beer tower with a smaller size and lower than the central tower, about 10m high. The building has four doors located in 4 different directions. The tower body has many impressive shapes of plants, flowers, animals, etc.

Located at the lowest position is the gate tower 100m from the central building. The gate tower is decorated with impressive but straightforward images. The dome at the tower door has a distinctive spear shape. The tower is a unique complex and is the most chosen check-in point when coming to Quy Nhon Cham tower.

Although not the most famous Cham tower complex, anyone who participated in a Binh Dinh tour cannot ignore this unique destination. Each tower is an architecture, a beauty of its own that compels those who come here to discover and learn to feel it.

Duong Long Tower Binh Dinh
Address: in between two hamlets of An Chanh, Binh Tay and Van Tuong communes, Binh Hoa commune, Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province.
Duong Long is a complex of three towers located close to each other: the South tower, the North Tower, and the middle tower. The body of the tower is built of bricks. The corners are carved with eye-catching motifs. Duong Long Tower is considered one of the tallest Cham towers in Vietnam.

The South Tower in the roof is carved with images of round breasts. The reliefs are images of monks meditating or images of lions or other animals. The body of the tower also has green moss-covered, which looks very mysterious and ancient.

In the North Tower, the fake door has images of atrium leaves. The outside of the door is in the shape of a snake body winding around. The inside of the door is the face of the monster Kala. In the middle of the tower’s roof, the tower body is carved with elephants and lions, looking very delicate and sophisticated.

According to the experience of discovering Binh Dinh, the middle tower has not as unique as the North and South towers. The tower has a higher height than the other two towers. The top looks like a very gentle lotus. The tower body is carved with unique motifs of Khmer architecture.

Experiencing the effects of weather and history, the Cham towers in Quy Nhon still retain their unique architecture. If you have the opportunity to travel to Binh Dinh, do not forget to spend some time visiting these Cham towers to discover all their ancient beauty.
