Not only is the symbol of clean energy industry of the whole country, but Bac Lieu wind farm is also a famous tourist destination.
Bac Lieu wind farm is a power plant located in Vinh Trach Dong commune, Bac Lieu city, which is the biggest wind power project in the country. This is also the first wind farm in Southeast Asia built on the continental shelf, with 62 turbines on the coast.

From the shore, dozens of turbines could be seen rotating in the wind.
Currently, this plant is preparing to start construction of phase 3. It is expected that after completion, the whole plant will have 133 wind turbine posts, bringing the total installed capacity to 241.2 MW.
